Research Interests
My particular interests lie in environmental toxicology and the mechanism(s) by which exposure to environmental agents are correlated with disease. I have studied ROS-producing agents, namely pesticides, as they relate to mitochondrial function, cell signaling, apoptosis, and disease progression. In addition, I am interested in the role of pesticide exposure in diabetes and obesity.
